TV Novi Sad
When it was bombed for the first time (it was
bombed 4 or 5 times)*, it was already evacuated (but operating
from alternative places), so destruction was just pure bestiality.
Interesting thing about the bombing
of TV Novi Sad was that the very first rocket hit editing
room No. 1. According to blue print of the building (planned
by Marconi) that should be the master room (heart of TV).
What those people in Marconi company, who provided NATO with
blue prints of the building, didn't know was the fact that
in building process (for some reasons, known just to technicians
of TV Novi Sad) that room rotated the place with editing room
No. 1. So, in a way, we can speak of "surgical"
precision... In this case at least.

Studio. Hit by second rocket.

Arrow is pointing to more or less the exact
spot where my office table was. My department (set design)
was in a kind of not permanent structure, hence no trace of
the building.
Photos were taken in January 2002. TVNS doesn't
have a money to destroy the buildings completely and to start
building new. Because ruble is dangerous it is guarded 24/7
(although there's nothing to guard).
* It seems that it became a "reserve"
target pilots used to get rid of bombs.
